Our History
Since 1999 At Your Warm Service
Mitho Daal Bhat is something that I envisioned and initiated with a motivation to do something in Nepal. With 30+ years living in Japan and 25+ years experience in running my own restaurants and hospitality industry there, I came into realization of something that changed my thoughts. At the time Nepal was ranked 2nd in sucidial rate after Japan which was due to the ongoing poverty and unemployment. This was the motivation for me to return back to Nepal to work in my own homeland to reduce these ongoing problems through my years of works and expertise that I had accumulated.
After arriving in Nepal, I visited a lot of restaurants around Kathmandu, just to find out that there was no proper hygiene and hospitality. Then, I thought of initiating something that provides very hygienic thakali motif foods with proper hospitality. Thus, with the vision of eradicating poverty and unemployment in Nepal and providing the place for proper hygienic foods to people with good ambience, I initiated Mitho Daal Bhat House. I have also decided to donate 5% of my profit from Mitho Daal Bhat House to charities like community school, orphanages and old age homes.
